My name is Charlie Bevins and I am a recent graduate of DePaul University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Journalism and minor in American Studies where I am majoring in Journalism and minoring in American Studies. I currently work at Zanies Comedy Club and perform open mics when I can around the city. My ultimate goal is to find a way to combine my two longtime interests, comedy and sports, in some manner.

At DePaul, I serve as Podcast Director for our award-winning radio station, Radio DePaul Sports. My duties for this role, in which I've been September 2020, include facilitating podcast production from other members of the station, while also creating, recording and editing my own gameshow and narrative podcasts. 

I've contributed to our school newspaper, The DePaulia, writing primarily on music events and press conferences that take place in the city of Chicago, the pinnacle of which was my invitation to Katy Perry's press conference to announce her latest album "SMILE."

I've interned for both the Morning News of WGN and the Sports Department, while also interning for a small, online radio station in Lake Bluff, IL called SRN Broadcasting. I wrote and covered the Chicago sports scene there for two years.
